Organizing Files and Folders in Engagement View

By default, workpapers and other engagement content are placed in one of the default nodes for unfiled content (indicated by the icon) when they are first added to an engagement. There are separate nodes for unfiled workpapers, reports, leadsheets, and Knowledge Coach forms. If you have added folders, you can drag:

  • Content from an unfiled node to a folder

  • Content from a folder to the appropriate unfiled node

  • Content from a folder to another folder

  • A folder and its contents into another folder

You can drag and drop from the right side to the left side or within the right side.

Move Content Between Nodes and Folders

To move content from one node or folder to another in Engagement View, do the following:

  1. Click the node or folder on the left to view its contents on the right.
  2. On the right side, click and drag the icon for that item to the folder or node where you want to place it on either the left side or the right side.

    Note: If you want to move an item from a folder to its appropriate unfiled node, you can also click in the Actions column for the item, and then select the option to move the item to its unfiled node.

Sort Items in Engagement View

You can change the order that items within a node or folder display. Click a column header to sort by that column. Clicking the column header again will reverse the sort order. To sort by more than one column, press and hold the Shift key as you click each column heading you want to sort by.
